I've always been a goal setter, a planner, and forward focused, no matter all the hardships of my past. I've overcome cancer, raised a child mostly on my own, obtained a Master's Degree, and experienced deaths of loved ones; some of the hardest times of my life.


But, when I hit my mid-50's I began to feel the longing of days gone by, remembering when life was "better."


When I hit a major medical obstacle that landed me in the hospital for a month, fighting for my life, and having to rebuild and reframe my life with some permanent scars (literally and figuratively), it was then that I realized

I have lived my best life, and now I get to create the best life I can with where I am and what I have.
